Using wall painting, text and gliding corner chairs Kate Liston has transformed/ will transform GOLDTAPPED gallery in response to the history, location and present day use of Carliol House, the building in which The NewBridge Project is situated.

 

Kate Liston (b. 1986, Gateshead) has exhibited and performed regionally, nationally and including at BALTIC, Northern Gallery for Contemporary Art, Grand Union, Birmingham, MART Gallery, Dublin, the Tetley Gallery, Leeds and APT Gallery, London. Recent projects have included the production of an Arts Council funded film titled ‘Treatment’. In October 2017 she took part in a residency and screening event with Doremi at The Coniston Institute, Cumbria.
